"What do you mean by you need our help?"
"And why do you need our help?"
Tang added, holding mk as he started to doze off.
"The reason I need your help is that the cure can only be obtained by a relative. Blood or not, as it gives a higher chance that the cure will work much better.
The sage said, covering the truth was the only way. He saw mk snooze, making him smile on the inside.
Pigsy looked at his son, thinking about the chances. If the hospital doesn't have a cure, then maybe this may be the only way.
Pigsy looked at tang as he saw his worried look, tang just held mk trying to keep their son comfy.
"If there is a better chance of helping our son, we're just gonna have to take it."
As pigsy said this, tang checked mk temperature, still worried.
"the sand sickness cant spread onto others once it's already on someone but I recommend he should still stay inside."
The king said in a serious but goofy enough tone.
"So do you need one of us to go or only-?"
Pigsy was interpreted by tang saying his name.
"I-i think its best... If I stay and look after MK while go and help get the cure."
Tang said unsure about, well all of this. He's worried about this sickness as it's not just a regular one, but if being calm can help as much he was gonna put this feeling behind himself. For now.
Mk then coughed a bit to wake him for a few seconds.
Seeing his kid, pigsy was unsure about this too but,
"If you think it's the best for this whole situation then-"
He was unable to continue his sentence with tang saying,
"I do but I don't think I'm suited for the whole quote going on an adventure thing."
Mk then started moving a bit causing tang to hold him more securely.
The monkey king then spoke after watching all of this.
"I'll wait till you're finished packing and say all you need to say and then we'll leave and be back before anything happen. "
The Monkey king said changing from a happy serious tone to a laughing happy, cheerful tone.
He then walked out the door not in their sight anymore.
Jump up onto a light pole and then started to breathe a bit heavy
'I didn't think a drop of that would make the kid that sick!?'
I bit the kid as a bird, having a drop of that made-up "sand sickness" but more than a drop would have brought that kid more than being sick. It didn't affect me due to my immortality but I could of handle that better!
He then sighed, relief now but he thought about the kid, he was happy to see as he said someone like him. Maybe he shouldn't have hurt him but.

He needs them to save everything.
Once agreeing on this whole thing, Tang and Pigsy went upstairs so he can pack.
"You should hurry and pack up some things."
"Isn't that the point of him waiting?"
Pigsy replied.
"I guess you're right."
Tang said as he opened the door to their apartment.
Pigsy went to get ready and tang went to their son's room to set him down but mk didn't want to let go at first. He soon let go and relaxed on his bed.
Pigsy had found a backpack and started packing some things he thought were important.
A pot, a wooden spoon, some ingredients, and some containers of leftover food.
When Tang saw what his partner packed, he was more than shocked, to say the least.
"Why did you need to pack those!"
"It's important."
"At least pack a jacket or least a set of clothes!"
Tang yelled worried, as Pigsy just tried to ignore his partner's worried concerns. He sighed,
"Fine, I'll take a jacket. It's just..."
Pigsy paused, looking down and tang knew that he was just as confused about this whole thing as he was.
"It's just I don't know how long this will take and the holidays are around and i-"
Tang places a hand on pigsy's shoulder.
"I know but mk is sick right now, and we may as well spend more time before you leave."
Tang tried to keep a smile, looking on the positive.
This caused Pigsy to smile too.
"Then we can show him something cool and then I'll tell him I'm leaving."
After maybe 30 minutes, mk woke up due to his coughing. He called for his papa and soon enough Tang came and asked him what was wrong.
"I have water?"
"Ok, Bub. We have something to show you anyways."
Mk was a bit confused but was picked up by his father. Mk rubbed his eyes and when he opened them again, he was a small tree with a few presents under it.
Mk saw all the colors and was filled with smiles.
He had seen gifts before but this felt different.
"gifts?"
He said pointing to them.
"Yes. They are gifts."
Tang said as he put mk down and the monkey walked to his father near the tree.
Pigsy near the tree handed him a little toy and Mk hung it on part of the tree he can reach.
"There. Better."
Mk said before he coughed. Pigsy then put a hand on his back asking,
"You good?"
Mk stared at his father, not knowing. It hurt but it wasn't the first time he had coughed before.
Mk nods and looks at one gift in red and green color and picks it up.
"Mk."
"Is mine?"
He asked.
"Yes but not now."
Pigsy said as tang just watched smiling, he held mk as they had to tell him the bad news.
"Mk?"
"Yeah, papa?"
Mk said looking up to see Tang trying to keep his smile.
"We have some bad news."
Mk frowned, looking at his father before he spoke.
"I have to go for a little while."
"Why?"
Mk questions, grabbing Tang's arm for comfort.
"It's because your sick, he's gonna get medicine for you."
Mk made a yuck sound to the word medicine.
"I do not like that, is yucky."
Mk, now hugging tangs arm more, tang just smiled at his son but the smile soon faded away and pigsy then implied,
"It will make you feel better, and that means I have to go to make you better. "
"Nooo."
Mk frowned saying with a cry.
"I don't want you to go."
Tang felt bad watching his son do the same thing to him when he leaves but it was the only way for him to get better.
Mk let go and ran to his father, pigsy just carried and hugged him as it seemed like mk was gonna cry.
It was like this for a few moments, till Mk just had to convey all of this
Pigsy then handed mk to Tang as he said,
"Good luck, try to keep in check every now and then."
Tang said as mk grabbed his scarf.
All 3 of them hugged as pigsy responded with;
"I'll try my best and be back before anything else."
They depart and pigsy grabs his bag, phone, and before leaving, he looks back one last time at his family.
Monkey King patiently waited as he saw what happened.
"Now I wish doing this wasn't necessary but it's the risk that's willing to take."
He said as he then heard a car honk that made him jump.
'This is why I live on a mountain!!'
He then sees pigsy outside looking for him, and he really does look like an old friend.
Monkey King then jumped and landed near the worried parent.
"Ready?"
"How long is this going to take? You know, to help my kid?"
"I can't really say."
"Great."
The great sage then turned into a bird and grabbed pigsy, he screamed at the sudden surprise, and off they went to start the adventure to the sand lands.
As Wokong put pigsy down on land that felt as if it was clouds.
"Say where are we anyway??
"The fog lands or that's what I like calling it."
Pigsy didn't even know how to respond to that.
As the wind grew, Pisgy grabbed his jacket and it was working well till there was a slash.
"Oh hey, there's water here."
Monkey king said as he then looked back.
"Umm?"
It turned out that pigsy fell into a small pool of water.
He was now angry and now had to put his jacket away and freeze even more than before.
"Hey, in you good?"
"No, it's freezing and I can't use my jacket!"
"Maybe, I don't know just move alot."
"Thanks, that's really useful."
Pigsy said with a hint of sarcasm.
As the two walked more into the fogged land, pigsy thought he heard a sound of water moving from behind.
He turns to see what it could be but can't see due to the fog.
As pigsy thought nothing more of it a splash was heard along with a grunt.
"Ugh great now I stepped in water! I don't remember water being here."
The Monkey king scoffed, getting out of the water when he was then pulled back falling into the water puddle again only he was half in water.
"The heck-!?"
Pigsy saw this and came running to help, even though he thought he had tripped into the water.
"Just get up."
"It feels like I'm being held down."
The sage said trying to pull himself up and Pigsy then grabs him, trying to help as well.
As they kept trying to get the king out, the grip was let go, making the king leap in the air and fall on his face.
Pigsy fell back and the king spits mud.
"Ew, I'm not stepping in any more water puddles again."
"What the heck was keeping you down anyway?"
"I'm not sure, I don't remember any water being here. Did a storm pass by?"
Monkey king was thinking of a reason why there was so much water here anyway.
"Well I think even with water, we should still keep going."
Pigsy said starting to walk forward, looking carefully, Monkey king then heard the water moving again only this time he saw it move.
The water looked like a lump with a snout and water eyes.
It immediately hides the moment the king sees them.
He hears the pig demon call for him to hurry up and he quickly runs to catch up avoiding water holes.
The water moved as if rain was falling on it, seeming as if it was a warning.
"How long is this land of fog?"
"We can exit the fog once the water is gone maybe in 5 meters or something close."
"Something close? Thats not helpful."
"Well, the fog lands aren't that long, we'll be out in no time."
The king said walking in front now as the fog seems to slowly fade away.
Pigsy stopped and open his backpack and grabbed a quick snack, he handed one to the great sage and he thanked him.
As the fog slowly started to disappear, more water started showing up, what made it weird is that there were no sea animals in the ponds.
As they kept walking, pigsy noticed a pond of water just leaving its hole.
"What the!"
"What's wrong?"
"The water just left Its tide."
"Water can't do that. It's probably just the fog messing with your mind."
"Something is up. I know it, these ponds don't have any animals in them or near."
Pigsy knows this due to Tang picking up a book on animal behavior due to boredom.
"Well, maybe they're new, I have said that I don't remember water being here."
The king replied a bit annoyed as they both stopped walking to talk about the missing water. Then a slash of water was heard causing them to turn to the sound.
They saw another puddle full of water but it was empty before.
"Wasn't that empty before?"
"I think so."
They both said a bit frightened.
A roar was then heard as if it was from underwater, shaking the ground and itself.
They saw the water rise as the sound of water drops fell.
They looked and saw a water beast, now staring angrily at them.
It had a snout as if it looked like a dragon, arms with claws looking like talons, and a dragon's long body. It snorted and the two froze.
"We're in trouble? Aren't we?"
