Chapter Text

1 year later…

“Covey! We’re going to be late!” Minho waited at living room of their apartment in Seoul.

“Coming!” Kitty rushed downstairs.

Minho was left in awe. “How do I look?”

She was wearing a navy blue dress, and a silver necklace with a heart on the middle.

“You look.. beautiful.” He stood admiring her.

He took her hand. “Okay, let’s go before Eunice murders us both.”

The late spring sun cast a golden glow over the vineyard, petals from the blooming flowers fluttering in the soft breeze.

Kitty and Minho arrived to the venue in which the wedding would be celebrated.

It was Eunice’s and Dae’s wedding, Kitty had waited for this one the longest, spring was her favourite season after all.

Guests laughed and clinked glasses, the air full of the faint scent of rosemary and champagne.

“You may now kiss the bride.” Dae grabbed his wife by the waist and kissed her.

The room was filled with cheering and clapping.

Dae and Eunice were radiant, standing at the altar, hands intertwined, grinning like they owned the world.

Kitty stood among the crowd, her blue dress catching the sunlight just like last summer.

She had been chatting with Yuri when the moment came—the toss.

Eunice spun gracefully, a perfect pirouette, and let the bouquet fly.

Kitty turned instinctively, catching it with a surprised laugh.

Her fingers closed around the flowers, heart racing with the thrill of the tradition.

She twirled to face the crowd, and then froze.

There, standing a few steps away, the warm afternoon light catching in his hair, was Minho.

His dark eyes were locked on hers, and for a heartbeat, the world fell away.

Kitty blinked.

Minho dropped to one knee, the soft grass brushing his knee, hand reaching for hers.

He wasn’t saying anything yet—just holding the small velvet box between them.

The crowd went quiet, a gentle hush falling like magic over the vineyard.

Kitty’s hands flew to her mouth. “Minho…” she whispered, voice trembling.

“I don’t need to make a speech,” he said, a teasing smirk tugging at his lips, though his eyes shone with something tender, something that made her chest ache. “I just need you to know… you’re my everything. My constant, my chaos, my home.”

He opened the box, revealing a delicate ring that caught the sunlight like it was made to mirror her smile.

“Katherine Song-Covey,” he continued, voice low and intimate, “will you marry me?”

Her heart skipped.

Laughter bubbled up through tears, and she nodded before words could form. “Yes. A million times yes!”

He stood, lifting her into his arms, spinning her slightly before setting her back down, forehead against hers.

Around them, the world erupted into cheers, clapping, and whistles—but all Kitty could feel was the steady beat of Minho’s heart against her own.

“I love you,” he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

“I love you too,” she whispered back, smiling through tears. “Always.”

She kissed him with grace, and he responded with the same feeling.

And just like that, one year after the chaos of a wedding full of laughter, secrets, and stolen kisses, Kitty and Minho began the next chapter of their lives together, no more hesitation, no more pretending, just pure, unshakable love.

The end.
