Bakugo was more snappy and distracted than usual. His whole friend-group kept bugging him about you. Even Midoriya joined in, curious as to who his best friend was so invested in.
But most importantly, you hadn’t sent a message all day and it was upsetting him for some reason. He would never admit to himself that deep down he was slightly worried. How could you say you were sick and just… not update him at all?
Should he text first? Should he not? Those were the only thoughts occupying his mind that whole day.
But… since when did he give a shit? He had texted you just fine a few days before about your quirk. And then about your math test. Would he ever admit that he was staring at that message, making sure it was perfect and questioning if he should even send it? No. He had nothing to be nervous about.
Plus, you were only sick. It’s not like you were dying. He would just wait until you said something stupid to him, like you always do.
