Third wheeling had become one of Mizuki’s hobbies during the year. They always say there’s a duo in a trio, and of course they were correct— and she was proud to admit it! Akito and Tsukasa were two lovebirds, yet no one else in the school knew it— well to be fair no one else in the school was unlucky enough to accidentally run into them while they kissed in the relatively empty hall during the festival. They seemed so set on not letting anyone know about their relationship so Mizuki third wheeling was saving them! No one would question all three of hanging out during the day! And it just so happened that it would also work in her own favor!
“Tsukasa-senpai, Otouto-kun! We should have a drawing competition! We all draw here after all!” Mizuki offered as she reached the roof. As expected, the two were already together, the star’s smile widening at her arrival while the ginger’s frown grew. Ruining their “little couple time” as she had deemed it and sitting in between the two, she pulled out three mini sketchbooks Rui had snagged from one of the art classes. She had almost forgotten about them until the previous period ended and she ran into the senior in the hall, who had gifted them to her— how he did it she would not question it, he had his ways after all.
“Tch… I don’t really care for drawing.” Akito huffed as he nudged the girl a bit over. Of course she took no offense, and shoved him back. “Where’d you even get these things— you’re not in the art club…” Mizuki simply placed the sketchbook in his lap, not reacting to his rejection.
‘I have my ways!” Which was only met with a sigh from both boys. “And please, you’re always drawing! You always draw Tsukasa-senpai in your notes in the morning—“ Interrupting her was a yelp of her own as the other had almost shoved her off the bench they sat on. Of course that would not stop her teasing, “Eehh! You’re so mean to me otouto-kun, you should really be nicer to your older sister!”
“Stop calling yourself that you’re only 3 months older than me…”
“Hahaha! No need to be embarrassed, Akito!” Tsukasa beamed loudly, “you’re my biggest fan, it’s only natural you’d want to draw me!” He had tried to appear humble and accept the compliment with ease but Mizuki could see the light blush on his cheeks, it matched Akito’s perfectly!
“Aw you two are so cute when you flirt miserably!”
“Shut up, Akiyama…” The ginger huffed,”We’re not flirting. What are we supposed to draw anyways?”
Mizuki blinked. She honestly had nothing in mind for the contest. Kit seemed to be a big fan of More More Jump but as far as she knew, only Tsukasa knew the members personally. And it would be too obvious to have them draw a member anyways, if her suspicion was correct it could risk the whole operation!
“How about we all draw each other!” The idea seemed to make Tsukasa perk up, so she continued, “I draw Tsukasa-senpai, he draws Otouto-kun, and that leaves Otouto-kun to draw me!”
“Tch.. I don’t know about that…” Akito huffed, rolling his eyes. Him being so against drawing was quite interesting to her but she decided not to, Tsukasa spoke up before she could even tease him.
“Oh afraid you’re going to lose to me?” At the thought of it being an actual competition Akito seemed to light up. Of course, he and Tsukasa were always competing against each other rather than the three of them— she learned her lesson from trying to race the two of them, it was like trying to keep up with cheetahs compared to a kitten! Not that she was a terrible runner— she was like one of the fastest girls but that wasn’t the point! Akito was on a whole different level!
“Ha, you wish! C’mon let’s start already so I can prove you wrong.”
“You’re gonna have to try hard, my dear!”
“Ayyee, always flirting, save that for later when you two—“
“Shut up Akiyama!”

Mizuki never knew Akito took drawing as seriously as Ena. He was just quiet as she was and it honestly looked like he wanted to kill someone. They had the same angry face, same mannerisms, it was amusing! Glancing over at Tsukasa she could only see him adding finishing touches. Of course it was stupid hearts and stars, he was so smitten it was almost sickening.
“Done.”
Perfect! The second Akito put the sketchbook down, Mizuki took the opportunity to snatch it and take a photo. Sending the photo to Ena for her art style expertises, she hummed to herself.
“Ehh, Akiyama?” Tsukasa’s voice caught her attention, “What are you doing with the picture?”
“Posting it online duh!” She said with a wink, “Why not show off our hard work and ask others for their opinion?”
“Because it’s stupid…”
“It’s not stupid, your work is amazing!” Tsukasa leaned in, grabbing Akito’s book. In response, Akito only huffed, turning away from the duo.

know…”
“Yeah stop flirting Senpai!”
“Shut up!”
