N00B was just enjoying his day off, making a few small renovations to his and Tai’s base. It was peaceful.
Until Tai barged in, startling him into falling off the ladder he was so precariously perched upon! Before he could even get a word in, Tai did what Tai did best.
He opened his mouth and started yapping.
A lot.
N00B didn’t quite hear everything he said—he couldn’t be bothered. He did pick up something about Judelow, Sharpness, and perhaps a bet?
It was probably another one of Tai’s stupid video ideas. A one-off thing, something he’d get over in a day or two.
But Tai just kept yapping!
Somewhere in the back of his mind, N00B wondered how it was physically possible Tai was still talking without repeating himself.
After ten minutes of this torture—N00B made a mental note to himself to find a better teammate next season—he finally interrupted Tai.
“Okay, but what does this have to do with me?” He asked, confused.
Tai blinked a couple times, then broke out into a massive grin. “We’re going to get Sharplow together, silly!”
“Sharplow…?” N00B was seriously thrown off. Was this a new brainrot term the kids were saying nowadays?
“Yes! Sharplow! Were you even listening to me talk?” Tai snaps impatiently.
No.
“Anyways, its the new ship name I came up with for Sharpness and Judelow!” He continued, not waiting for a response.
Oh.
“And we’re getting…’Sharplow’ together? How?” N00B furrowed his brows.
“Yes! My god N00B, keep up!” Tai was now pacing back and forth furiously.
He, decisively, did not get paid enough for all of Tai’s shenanigans.
“You know what, fine. Just tell me what I have to do,” N00B sighs. Anything to get him to just shut up.
N00B’s head was starting to hurt.
“Well, I need you to ask a favor of Luigi!” Tai’s eyes sparkled in mischief. “We gotta win the bet against Cow!”
“The- what? The bet?” It was not N00B’s fault he didn’t listen—he naturally tuned out annoying people!
Unfortunately, the meant that he often tuned out his own teammate.
“Yes! We made a bet on whether Judelow and Sharpness would get together by the end of the week!” Tai exclaimed, exasperated.
That explains a lot.
It’s going to be a long, long week for N00B…
