Pov 2
The time is 11:59 only one minute before midnight. Parrot sitting just outside of spawn with Theo, as they both look out into the distance gazing at the star covered sky and the mountains in the backdrop. It's quite the sight to behold. However this strange foreboding force seems to be washing over Parrot. He's visually uncomfortable Theo seems to notice and nudges him with his elbow remarking.
"What's got you all freaked out bro"
"I Don't know, I just have this weird feeling of... Dread? Its hard to explain."
Theo face contorts into a laugh patting him on the back as he does assuring him that there is nothing to be worrying about at the moment.
"Parrot bro, everythings been going smoothly for months now you don't have to be so stressed all the time, look just enjoy the stars for 5 minutes and relax"
"Fine bro."
Parrot bagrudingly agree's with Theo, he has been needlessly stressed out about nothing, After all it's been months since anything bad has happened to the server, everything was thriving new players coming in everyday weren't dying. Everything was almost perfect. He leaned back into the grass looking to the star covered sky. Five minutes, what bad could happen in five minutes of relaxation. Theo leans down next to him looking into the star covered sky with him. He quickly becomes full of excitement out of no way he yells to Parrot right in his ear.
"LOOK PARROT A SHOOTING STAR"
Theo pointed up in the sky, it seems like there was a meteor shower on tonight, Theo asks Parrot half jokingly.
"Sooo what are you gonna wish for?"
"Theo bro, you know wishes don't come true be so for real."
"Aw come on Parrot, like if you could make one thing be true right now what would it be"
"I wish... I wish nothing bad ever happens to my friends and the server again"
Theo turns his head in the grass to look at parrot, he was still looking up at the meteor shower, he didn't expect an actual deep rooted wish he was only joking in a way. He stammers over his words a bit before a smile grows across his face. He punches Parrot playfully laughing as he does.
"Yeah I'd wish for the same thing."
12:12 am
A Loud roar can be heard coming from the other side of spawn, Parrot jumps into action first, standing up from the grass to see where it had came from. He looks towards spawn a gathering of players is forming in the direction of which the roar came from. Another one is heard, Parrot can hear his citizens panicking at spawn. At the same time Theo slowly gets up from the grass dusting himself off as he does, he turns to Parrot, his face is covered in fear. Maybe that feeling of dread, was more than just a feeling. Parrot begins to run to group of players at spawn.
"PARROT WAIT UP."
Theo follows close behind Parrot as they slide down the hill they're on down towards the gates of spawn. Theo is just as confused as everyone else in the server.
"PARROT WHATS GOING ON"
"DID YOU NOT HEAR THAT ROAR, SOMETHING BAD IS HAPPENING AT SPAWN, QUICK GET READY TO FIGHT."
Theo rummages through his inventory sorting it getting his carts ready and switching things in and out of his hotbar to be better suited for combat. Parrot runs through the spawn gates he weaves in and out of the crowded areas trying his best to get to the front of them all to see what's happening. Theo following close behind him still cart in his hand ready. But when they get to front. There's Nothing? No one is fighting, No one is getting hurt everyone is just looking into the distance. Parrot asks someone what happened.
"We heard a massive roar come from the east and everyone went to look to see what it was."
Just as Parrot is about to say something, another roar comes from the same direction a ripple of power shakes through the server. Everyone flinches and begins to panic again. Parrot thinking on his feet climbs to tallest thing nearby and urges everyone to stay calm.
"EVERYONE PLEASE STAY CALM, TRY YOUR BEST TO SPREAD OUT TO PREVENT CRAMPING EACHOTHER"
Parrot signals to Theo to start evacuating citizens, He speaks again.
"MY BODYGUARD WILL LEAD YOU TO A PLACE TO SHELTER FROM HERE"
He jumps off of the house he was standing on to speak.
"Theo lead them to capital city, they should be a bit safer there"
Theo nods and yells to the citizens to follow him as he start to lead them to the direction of capital city to hopefully get away from whatever is going on. About half of them make it out of the spawn gates before another ripple is let out throughout the server. Buildings begin to fall apart, as pieces of debris fall onto players almost killing them. Theo blocks a few of the pieces of debris from hitting players. But he can't stop them all, Hundreds of new players die before they even have a chance to play the server. Its a disaster, and the worst hasn't even come yet. Parrot urges any stragglers to hurry up he's possibly the most stressed he's ever been in his life. Some players die right in front of his eyes with no way to prevent them. They've just about evacuated all that's left of spawn at this point in under 7 minutes. The time is now 12:25 am. The sky is turning completely black if you didn't have max brightness you would need torch to see anything. Theo runs back parrot not that they've evacuated spawn.
"WHATS EVEN HAPPENING"
"I DONT KNOW THEO"
A bright white light millions of blocks away starts to shine as bright as the sun, its impossible to make out what it is but its clearly where the roaring and pulses of power is coming from wind begins flying in from the west seemingly being pulled towards the light. Another roar is let out shattering all the glass around them that wasn't crushed or broken by debris and players. Theo has never seen Parrot so messed up in his life, his feathers and completely ruffled his face was a mix of fear and thought, lost in his own head trying to think of a solution to this sudden massive problem. All the dead players, how was he going to prevent new players from dying, all of spawn was completely ruined. It had all came crumbling down in an instance. Parrot looks into the distance just taking it all in something seemingly is flying towards spawn, it looks like a shooting star its going a million miles a hour.
"Is that... a pearl?"
Theo spots it as well.
"I think it is!?"
The pearl flies about 100 blocks to their right hitting directly into one of the walls of spawn a cloud of dust erupts around area of the pearl with someone laying directly in the centre. Parrot squints at the figure trying to recognise who just pearled from away from the bright light. It looks like-
"SPOKE?!"
Another pearl comes flying towards the same spot landing on top of spoke. The light gets brighter shining in Parrot and Theo's eye's the clouds are seemingly being sucked in towards the light now, as one final roar is unleashed from the light, it gets brighter, almost blinding. Theo's mind clicks, he mutters
"It's an explosion"
With mere moments left the clouds are being pulled into the explosion even faster, it's charging up an explosion the shockwave would destroy most things in it's path. He yells to Parrot running towards him trying to push him towards cover but there's none in sight. The explosion is Hundreds of thousands blocks big the light gets to them first before the shockwave. Theo gets to Parrot and wraps his wings around him covering Parrot from the in coming shockwave. It come flying towards them tearing up everything in it's path. Theo says to Parrot while covering him.
"You owe me bro this is going to hurt like hell"
The shockwave hits Theo in the back head on, completely shattering his totem, if he didn't have that he would have one hundred percent have died to it. Completely shielding Parrot from the blast. Parrot stands up from the ground after falling over from the blast. He chuckles to himself surprised by the gesture.
"HOLY CRAP THEO BRO YOU COULD HAVE DIED"
"I'm Fine Parrot don't worry about it."
He stretches the totem clearly working saving him from the shockwave. All the buildings around them are in complete ruins rooms blown off of them. Theo turns around to look at the direction of the blast, three bright purple lights emerge from the dust of explosion something bigger than any mob or building is floating in the smoke.
"Parrot... What.. What is that..."
A loud roar erupts from the beast its silhouette now Visible, Three massive heads each with a purple glowing eye, blocks float around it as it sucks in anything it lays its eyes on. Parrot can't even bring himself to speak.
The time is 12:28 am, the king of unstable falls to his knees, a beast unlike anyone has ever seen has been unleashed onto the server.
