“Oh my god, I swear, she’s so annoying!” Renjun fumed. “I was just trying to get the damn lab done, and she would not shut up! She kept trying to have whole conversations with me! And no one tells her to stop cause she’s cute!” Renjun said, hands waving. Jaemin and Jeno watched her with amusement.
“What! Why are you two looking at me like that?” Renjun snapped.
“It’s just that this is the third time this week we’ve listened to you talk about how terrible it is to have to talk to this cute girl in your bio class,” Jaemin said. Jeno giggled, unable to hold back her laughter anymore.
“When did I say she was cute? She isn’t. She’s just annoying and nosy,” Renjun insisted.
“Aww babe. You don’t have to get all pouty, we believe you!” Jeno teased. Renjun sputtered. Jeno turned to Jaemin. “Is this what it was like when she was crushing on me?”
“I mean pretty much. Very belligerent, this one,” Jaemin said cheekily. Renjun flushed at the two sided attack she was facing.
“This isn’t fair, you’re ganging up on me!” Renjun pouted for real this time. Jeno cooed and squished her pink cheeks.
“Well if you’re really set on this being a problem, it seems to me that the solution is just to ask her out.” Jaemin said, stroking her chin thoughtfully.
Jeno nodded sagely. “She’s 100% flirting with you.”
Renjun gasped.
“Flirting?? But she’s just been-”
“Asking you lots of questions about your life and your interests? Almost as if she wants to get to know you better? Possibly purposely provoking you because you’re super cute when you’re mad?” Jaemin probed. (She fist bumped Jeno at Renjun’s stunned silence.)
“... Ok maybe she was flirting.” Renjun admitted.
“So, how are you gonna ask her out?” Jeno asked, eyebrows wiggling.
“Wait, I mean, what about you guys? What if she doesn’t want to date us?” Renjun said.
“I guess she would just date you then?” Jaemin shrugged. “At the very least, we have the same taste in women!” That earned a high five and one too many lipbites in Renjun’s opinion. She sighed, accepting defeat.
“Alright I’ll see what I can do. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.”
“Wear that white tank top when you do. No way she says no to that!”
“You guys really need to stop hanging out with Jaehyun and his boyfriend, you are literally turning into frat bros!”
