Okay, imagine this taking place in a Lewd version of Naruto. This is Sannin-growing-up timeframe.
Lewd Konoha can look into people's future for potential, see how everyone grows to tailor their training appropriately. Don't know how, maybe a clan or the crystal ball. Also can't actually see the future itself, just potential of people.
The Sannin are all going to be very strong, but also mentally unstable (Tsunade running away and drinking and gambling, Jiraiya's porn and sex and peeking, Orochimaru's obsession) and thus judged to need submission training to keep them stable under someone else's control, since their own was deemed too weak.

Nana may look oblivious but she lives in Namimora, has lived under the protection of Hibaris all her life so she knew who Sawada was.
