Summary
On his next press down, Sam’s clothed dick brushes against Jacob’s. For a second the connection feels like a static electric zap, before Sam immediately collapses on top of him, all dead weight and sweat, then rolls off to lie at his side.
Jacob works hard to hold himself together, coughs twice from the shock to his chest. Then he clicks his tongue. “No touching,” he says, teasing.
“No touching,” Sam laughs back, breathless.

A voice from off-screen calls, “The Vampire Lestat, two minutes to curtain! Lestat to the stage!”
Lestat rolls his lined eyes. With a haughty toss of his hair, Sam stalks offstage, leather-plastered hips swaying to his internal beat. Jacob has to shimmy his shoulders for a second to shake the image of that ass in those pants from his mind’s eye. Again. Exposure therapy, or something.
“Break a leg, you fucking diva!” Daniel shouts at his retreating form, and then Eric is walking towards Jacob, instantly dropping Daniel’s frustrated posture.
“Your boy looks insane like this.” Eric’s laugh precedes him as he sidles over, eyes on Sam as he fucks with his microphone prop on the other side of the room. “You, my friend, are stronger than any marine.”
“The fuck does that even mean?” Jacob laughs.
“Means what it means, babe,” Eric says unhelpfully, pats Jacob on the chest twice, and wanders off.
