"You're a poor actor," Geto interjected abruptly, halting in his tracks with a wolfish grin. "You wouldn't have trailed after me this far if you didn't desire my company. Your royal existence must be dreadfully dull."
Satoru was acutely aware of the game being played, knowing full well that Geto's words were not entirely sincere. Yet, he found himself unable to resist the allure of playing along.
A reluctant smirk tugged at Satoru's lips, and though he fought against it, he couldn't help but acknowledge the truth in Geto's jest. "Perhaps you're right."
