Sorry, but Clint doesn't just have good vision, he has super vision (like Matt has super hearing), which is much stronger than just good vision. This is clear from the Marvel movies, although there is no clear explanation for this mutation. In any case, he is capable of seeing too much and must filter the information to avoid overload.
I'm not so sure about Steve, though. He showed no signs of overstimulation. It seems his mutation primarily affected strength, speed, and regeneration. His hearing and vision also improved, but not compared to other mutants. So I seriously doubt his migraines. Perhaps only at the very beginning. In any case, as a soldier, he's obligated to be able to filter the data stream. That's professional stuff.
I never disagreed that Clint has super-vision. And I wasn't saying Steve had migraines, I was explaining my inspiration for sudden-onset. I just have a different idea of how I feel they would handle it.
Oh, I get it about the migraines, thank you. However, my impression remains the same: Steve doesn't have such problems with supersenses. He's just not gifted with them to the same degree. That's what I think.
But I agree with you that Steve would probably use this excuse to consult with the mysterious daredevil and learn something new about him. ;) A slightly different motive, but the result is the same. And that explains why he doesn't need Clint or Natasha's advice; his interests lie elsewhere.
