    Cece's voice is one I find interesting in the New Girl world - both highly practical and ridiculous all the same, and often both heartfelt and with a peculiar sharpness and worldliness I don't think any of the other characters really have. It was a lot of fun, and really interesting, to combine that with a pop of magical realism/a soulmates AU and the general New Girl zaniness.

        Ha! I feel like it's super obvious whenever a fic of mine goes out anonymously - I was so sure you knew it was me when I saw your comment - but apparently I'm a bit sneakier than I thought? SCORE.

        Man, though, I love Cece, and while it was tough at times to work out what I wanted to say about her and Schmidt's relationship at this point, writing with her voice was a pleasure.

          I'm not shocked it was you, but there were so many quality NG fics it was hard to be certain. UGH THIS FANDOM I MEAN COME ON YOU WOULD THINK SOME PEOPLE WOULD BE AWFUL WRITERS BUT NOPE.
