I agree with the previous guy. It was like you had decided the Undersiders were going to win the fight and proceeded from there.
And, I think, it was that feeling that made the fight feel frustrating. It didn’t seem like an organic struggle Taylor and co. just happened to lose, but that they had been foreordained by the hand of the author to lose, and the details were just filled in from there.
Why didn’t Taylor have her wasps and hornets sting people’s eyes, especially if she didn’t have a huge swarm? You’ll be out of the entire fight if you can’t see.
Why didn’t card guy who can make his cards go anywhere, target people’s (or the dog’s) eyes? Instead, he just peppers their bodies with minor injuries.
If the vault is actually locked down, why is it able to be opened at all by one person on a keypad? Why not, at the very least, a timed lockout? That seems like a huge oversight.
I could go on, but the way the Undersides just grabbed all the cash *and* all their people and safely left makes the mafia look really incompetent.
