    Hey hi hello!!! (Replying to this on my phone cause I don’t have my computer rn TT)

    I did not think of that way but yeah, better that my vice be coffee than say idk, angst

    I’ll be so honest I kind of just added the scene in while writing the drafts cause I was like “this seems like a junior thing to do” and well what do you know

    Tbh I’m pretty sure the long story was supposed to be Junior witnessing the whole “father nearly gets poisoned by lye in cake” thing but then I remembered he wasn’t there when that happened so 😭???

    Of course Junior would rather trust a random barista over the detective let alone their father

    Yes, Sam does in fact know how it feels to be called a name that has bad memories (*cough cough* and is also just a not-so-clever lilo and stitch pun *cough cough*)

    To be honest I’m not even gonna lie that’s how it felt being called Elise instead of my real name for the first time so of course I had to have junior experience that kind of joy

    You know, I didnt even think of it that way but yeah it’s now Meyers bring your kid to work day canon as of now

    Stitch really said “if 2 + 2 is four and this guy not only has a grating voice but smokes all the time… then it must be Terrence Meyers ig”

    Oh yeah sure it’s definitely about the espresso shot and not the whole Terrence Meyers thing

    Trust and believe this is not the end of the coffee shop au, many more installations and other aus to come <3

    It’s so funny to think that I originally came up with this series as a sort of “what’s the antithesis of don’t shoot the messenger” and now it’s blossomed into this whole thing

    They did in fact invent fanfiction so I could make this coffee shop au fun fact
