Comment on The West Wind Quartet

  1. This is amazing work! I love the POV you chose. This sinda show us so real Maglor's Gap and Himring and the Feanorion brothers. Cannot tell how I like it in my poor English.
May I ask your permission to translate this story into Chinese? I wish to share it with some friends on a Chinese website. It will have your name on it and be totally not commercial.
Please let me know if it's Okey. :)

    1. Thank you! I'm very glad you like it so much!
You do have my permission to try and translate it and I'm glad you like it enough to want to, but I think some passages in this story might not be easy for you to translate.
Anyway, could you please send me a link if you post a translation of the story in a public venue on the internet?

      1. Thank you!
Yeah there are parts that are hard to translate. I'll try my best.
And yes, I'll send you the link. Though it may take some time to finish.

          1. Dea Himring, I saw that you left a kudo for my translation of your work. I just wanted to tell you that this is the version of the translation that FromMidworld and I have been working on since you kindly gave us permission to translate your wonderful story into Chinese, and that our fellow Chinese fans have always loved it. Over the past ten years, we've shared the translation with many fellow fans, polishing it over and over again, and finally I've posted it here in the hope that you might see it. I never dreamed that I would be able to answer you or receive your kudo after so many years, but here I am. I hope this reply and translation will not disturb you. Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year. I thank you for your wonderful work and wish you all the best for the coming New Year.
