    oh I love this :') it's just exactly what I needed today ❤︎❤︎❤︎ all the ace feelings.
    “Do not start the conversation with the words ‘I don’t want to be your boyfriend’. “Or ‘you are in love with me’ for that matter.”
    I'm not sure I've ever seen a character directly and proactively averting a misunderstanding trope before it can start and can I just say, while I am one of the few who loves those tropes, this is absolutely brilliant. I can't wait to read more of this!

      ...I shall not tell you about the two earlier drafts I have of this story, one in which Enjolras starts the conversation with "you are in love with me" and one where he ends a very pretty speech about friendship with "I don't want to be your boyfriend".
