    I just had this recc'd to me and as I trusted the recc'er, sat down and read.

    Like ningloreth said, the bittersweet feeling that ran though this entire piece was so beautifully done. It's just the right amount for each month. By the way, a huge kudos for pulling that off.

    September made me weepy and I'm so glad Alan took the initiative on that!

    All said, a wonderful fic, skillfully written. I don't know the specific request but this was a real treat for me to read and I think you did a nice melding of book and movie canons.
