Comment on A Year of Women

  1. This is brilliant. I love all the details - of course Alan likes jigsaws, the intricate, painstaking task of assembling the pieces into a bigger picture - and I love how you handle gender issues, here. Nancy giving in to society's rules - relinquishing Betsy - is such a painful beginning, and the rest of the fic rings so true in so many ways, bittersweet yet hopeful. And yet there's Alan's speech at the end feels true to the book, too - as well as making a great closing.

Jigsaws seemed like the logical precursor to assembling wee dino bones to me! I'm glad it worked for you. Thank you so much!
