Oh, you have understood perfectly how I was writing them! ♡ I think Hickey is very clever, but he does act like a child when it comes to complex situations of authority and cooperation, where he makes things 'simple' for himself - "this is unfair, this insults my feeling of worth, etc., so I am allowed to do anything I think is needed" - but his direct survivalist way of thinking makes problems for everyone (including him).

    Irving at this phase is like a mother, yes, but the kind of mother who complains and tries to be always right. :) My goal is to slowly change their interactions until they reach an understanding of each other and a more equal position to each other...
