It was exactly this I was asking about, wanted to compare with my own opinion~ And I pretty much have at least two versions on my mind for AOB dynamics on F1. One is a mixed one like yours, and one were most people are betas and only some being alpha/omega. Also I got the feeling the AOB that I know is slightly different than yours....
Anyway my own are: (Its not fixed but more or less this)

Now about Max it would make sense him as Beta that sometimes want to act as Alpha. But my mind only can imagine Omega!Max being told by his father to hide it so he can appears as "stronger". Also I can been have influenced by how sometimes Max seems to be looking to others for guidance, even more when is his father (or Daniel). Its seems not intentional but sometimes this side of him does appears. But since he's so stubborn and all people wouldn't think of him as possible omega, with most thinking of him as Beta, or even as possible late bloomer Alpha (if in this verse people don't already are born with their gender/ranking but blooming on it later on life). Just imagine everyone surprise... (Also his father is a Alpha, a aggressive one sadly :/ )
