    tbf, he never truly rescued her, just attempted to. if that eas real life he would have gotten them both killed

      True, but he did rescue Shinsou and another person, so he should've gotten a few points from those.

      he saved two other people, and at least he tried to save her iida wouldn't be able to save her either, or kaminari or sero, or mineta, or jirou, or even eraser head or present mic, but when all the exam takers ran he went to help and when that failed he protected her with his body

      if it were real she would have died either way, but izuku tried, and that is the premise of the entire show the whole thing about the pros waiting around for bakugou to die because the didn't have quirks that were a good fit for the situation, and they could have gotten hurt, meanwhile a kid was drowning, and a kid with zero powers was able to buy bakugou a few more precious seconds of oxygen which death arms totally could have done just as well or better but didn't cuz he didn't wanna get burned
