Thank you! I'm really hoping the ultimate destination of the Mighty Nein is a functional, healthy group that trusts one another, so call this wish fulfillment. Also, it's my dream to get a pony centaur into a game, but not every DM wants a centaur player (size issues, I guess). One day!
I admit to thinking of the original Mighty Nein with that manticore, but honestly it was more a head nod to the real Mighty Nein's first serious battle. :)
