I love this so much. You found a great way to keep the emotional core of 5’s story while changing the circumstances to fit the AU and keep a coherent whole, and you did it very well! There were so many great moments in here, from the altered Nelo Angelo (and I love that Nero was what the demon used to control Vergil) to Vergil’s finally telling Nero he’s proud of him, and of course to that amazing ending.
I seriously love the father-son relationship between Vergil and Nero, and you write them so well. All the little details and changes, and yet everybody still feels like themselves. If I could leave more kudos I would! Can’t wait to read the epilogue! Good luck with writing!
