      But he can still take... intellectual comfort I guess? He can be reminded that, whatever kind of messed-up trauma family the Mechs have formed, he's a part of it. They don't view him as less than the rest of them. He's not alone.
      I guess that's an extremely long-winded way of saying "He can appreciate the gesture".
