Comment on Blessed by Oblivion

  1. Something that makes no sense: On Sweden. Sweden isn't an island, possible that you meant iceland? Although why an artifact with conections to norse mythology would be kept in a french art mesum, i have no idea. In fact why would the french government be the one arguing with shield over a swedish artifact?

    1. Sorry. I meant "in Sweden". I didn't give much though as to why the french would have the stone. For example, many artifacts from Egypt are in the UK.

      1. Yes many Egyptian artifacts are in the UK because it was a colony. And the Egyptian government have at times fought hard to get them back. I can't really see how the Swedish government in modern times would allow a French expedition to do digs in Sweden and take artifacts back. On top of that the Louvre doesn't have any artifacts from Scandinavia. If you want to make it at least a little plausible I would have the artifact found at a site in france (along the coast there have been found some viking artifacts) and then have the stone being shown in the Museum of French History, which is a stretch for something found recently, the other option is to have it being studied in an university.

        1. Alright. It does sound more plausible. Thanks.

          1. And what I forgot to write in all of this is that I really like the story, there was just this one thing that took away from it.
