Comment on Twin Fates

  1. I like that with two Shepards and two ships that they can go off and complete different missions simultaneously and then come back together for the big stuff. Makes it feel like they're under (slightly) less of a time crunch.

That being said. Two Shepards now means that Shepard is now no longer the Sole Hope For Saving The Galaxy TM. Which is a very good thing. But, it also means that they're more expendable. Factions/people that might've otherwise been forced to help or protect Shepard might think twice about it.

The Leviathans going for a hostage and demanding conditions for their help is a cool, if scary, change.

Other thing I really enjoyed about this chapter was Ashley teasing Jane about the love triangle drama that her love life has turned into.

    1. It just made sense to us. If you think about it in canon Shepard is so good at what they do they can literally turn the tide of a battle, even a war by what they do. Having two characters of that caliber it makes sense they would split up to tackle issues separately. It works out for the better most times but some times it can cause problems. We're trying to balance that with our own favorite missions from the game.

It just felt right. The Leviathans always struck me as arrogant and selfish so of course they'd keep John and then only give him up for something they want more.

Belle told me about that a few chapters ago and I honestly didn't know what she wanted to do. When I saw what she wrote I was so impressed. It worked so well and fit Ash great.
