okay but like. Ingo with the 'freebies' from Volo like "Am... am I being flirted with?" no honey it's mostly just plain old fashioned manipulation there. However Ingo trying to politely reject Volo and let him down easy because "I am flattered but you are far, far too young for me." is extremely funny
I've always had the head canon that the pearl clan ironically is much faster than the diamond clan at organizing everything, solely because Ingo is very good at projecting his voice. Irida has her own makeshift megaphone in this weird uncle figure she found in the mountains
Volo is like “oh I can charm my way into this dudes wallet so easily” but Ingo who is a Good Man is like “I can’t even remember how old I am, you deserve someone who knows if they are your age, with memories……memories of youth….joints that do not ache..”
LOVE that headcanon. There’s no other noise pollution here, I wonder how far the man’s voice would carry? I dunno how acoustics work. She probably went back and forth on him even needing a celestica flute to call sneasler, but it is tradition so he got one.
