    Went through and read all the available chapters first before coming back to comment on the first chapter. I love your concept of how the cultivation world would have modernized. The CMDC, while probably annoying to deal with is very interesting. I also really enjoyed the way that even the minor characters-the university students that are helping with the research are portrayed and made unique, with little tidbits about them added, such as the one who is a fan of cultivation with cultivation magazines, and one who recently broke up with her boyfriend. Really enjoyable to read. I really enjoy how you have characterized both Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji, and how you have written Lan Wangji's point of view. I also love the little hints throughout of what I think might be foreshadowing, or hints to characters' backstories. I also love the idea of having cultivation as an area of study at university, that can be studied even if you are not a cultivator. This story is wonderful.
