From reddit. I like that intro that in Vee's vast kindness that she wants to help the witch kids that were displaced from their homes, and that it's bittersweet the first thing Luz wanted to do when she got home was to go and see her father's grave. As expected, but it brings the sad feelings that she wasn't able to see him on the anniversary. I also like that when she presents the ice cream to them that she tries to smile but she's not sure if it's as reassuring as she intends it to be, by Amity's reaction. I like that when she thinks of what to tell them, that she's experience the horribleness of Belos too, that there's a little reference to Amphibia and what Anne and her friends went through in another world. And I like that nod that Vee has been here for long enough that she knows LA would be a long drive to get there, and that though she's unimpressed that Gus the human expert thinks it's all magic - I think it's cute that he thinks of humans as having their own brand of magic, and that Vee is kind to know that they would have known as much as she did when she first came here. Nothing, of course. And it was funny that Gus thinks of the paperclip as a musical instrument XD When Vee talks about what the objects actually are and what they do I like that she thinks Amity might actually know what she's talking about 'cause she is Luz's girlfriend XD And I like that Gus in the end gives her some magic so that she can go outside, teach them about the human realm. It's nice to see that her opinion is valued since she was treated as less than a person for a long time under Belos' hand. I enjoyed it!
