After much too long, I've finally returned to this fic! I could never get myself in the right mindset to read it for whatever reason, but I'm here once more, ready to dive into this case!
Can I just say, I love the dialogue you write. I don't know what it is about it, but it flows very well and it very much fits the setting as I understand it. It's very fun ready it in your typical English accent and what have you.
And she's found blood, you say? Curiouser and curiouser! Unfortunately, I don't have the brain power to conclude what the setting for next chapter will but, but luckily, I need not wait! I can't wait to see how that unfolds.
And gosh, I understand researching for hours on end only for the information to never come up in your writing. I once read most of a woman's etiquette book for this fic I was writing and ended up using exactly two (2) facts about dresses they mentioned and nothing else LMAO.
Anyway! I'm glad to be back! Onwards to the next one!
I'm glad to see you returned (and I'm so sorry for not replying any sooner!). And woman's etiquette books are the best! There's one from 1883 I think whose entire section on courting and engagements reads like a self-insert story and it's so funny xD Either way, thank you for your comment and I hope the case lives up to what you expected!
