So here's how monsters (including hybrids) are born:
Monsters do not reproduce sexually. Instead, when two monsters are willing to have a child, they form a soul bond (I think this was explained in other works before? I'm not sure). The two monsters have to be compatible and strong in order to produce an offspring, though species does not matter. Hybrids are more of a complicated business, especially with most human souls being naturally weak without training (and also due to the war). Both the human and the monster must have the same amount of strength as the other. If not, then any attempts at a soul bond will fail. However, if both do have the same amount of strength, then a soul bond will form and a child (or a hybrid in this case) will be born. Monster children are not born the same way humans are. A piece of cloth must be gathered right after the soul bond. Then, the parent(s) must set up a cradle and carefully place the cloth on a pillow. After a few days, in the morning, a small child will rest in the cloth. For hybrids, it all depends. Most of the time, a hybrid's born the same way a young monster is born, but on the rare occasion, a hybrid will be born naturally.
It's quite a long headcanon, but I enjoyed typing this out, nonetheless.
*wide eyed excitement* Wow! Love your headcannon! So if they are a hybrid, what monster are they a hybrid of? *continues to stare at you with wide puppy dog eyes* That headcannon is so cool! *stares in awe, not knowing what else to say...* So Cool! *stars form in Egirl's eyes from the amount of awe* (✪.✪) Sooo Cool..!
