Minish cap was such a good game frr, its the first zelda game i completed (and the only) cuz like the mechanics were so much more intuitive than like ocarina of time (i legit never managed to finish the deku tree) and i had so much fun playing it (unlike botw, its good maybe but the map is too big for me to enjoy so i gave up after a while(aka like half a year) and i barely got through the first divine beast)
Anyway im ranting... boutta binge read this fic so bad, sleeping can wait-
I've found that when I attempt to recreate/represent things for personal projects of mine, I like to leave nothing missing! It's a core tenet of my approach to improving/reinvigorating the pokémon series and it's definitely a core tenet with this series of fanfics!!!
Minish Cap was my first zelda game as well, I saw an acquantaince play it while I was over at his house and I then failed to ever see him again, so I spent the next year or so hunting down the game at EB Games (literally canada's version of GameStop). I was so pleased when I finally found it!
