    I was really prepared to be destroyed for another chapter here, but I was so relieved that Lucy was let go. The call from Wade/Barnes reassuring her she could still work for Lockwood and Co. made me so happy. Lucy's release from the Nightwatch makes me feel like the person who set her up in the first place decided to pivot methods of keeping Lucy out of the way. Still, I'm thrilled she had somewhere to go. And I was glad Lucy left a note for Chelsea. I have a feeling it's not the last we've seen of her in this story.

    Holly and the melon cutting is now one of my favorite fic scenes in the fandom. It was so thoughtful, and such a cute way to have everyone bond. All the heartwarming goodness to balance the angst of recent chapters.

    Also so happy we got to see Lockwood's attempts at finding Lucy. And I'm always going to enjoy George (and Holly) teasing Lockwood over his obvious crush on Lucy. Adored leaving off with Locklyle doing their house tour. Such a satisfying chapter.
