   Enjoying the story. Quick chess clarification: A King and bishop cannot ever checkmate. Only a Queen or Rook are capable of that with a King. The best Ron could hope for is a stalemate if he successfully takes Theo's remaining pawns (otherwise he could Queen and easily win).
