    not really correct, given that his backstory was explained in the game.

      I started this fic YEARS before the Jade Shadows quest came out (in 2017!). The fact that the Stalker had a lover and was made into a warframe BEFORE the fall of the Orokin shocked me. While I could rewrite the first few chapters to be more inline with canon, I like my version of events better, so I won't.

      Maybe that means this should be an alternate universe.

      I also saw that video before, too. That guy is good at explaining the lore of the game.
