I have some kinda scattered theories regarding the crusader weapons [or at least one of them definitively], but I would not put it past the Grimleal to go graverobbing to not only get the Deadlords, but also steal the crusader weapons they could actually find
As for the regalia, it's possible they might've either been brought there by their wielders at the time or were gifted to Fódlan for undetermined reasons. Either way, the end result is they'd get passed down over time until they eventually became lost, and with them lost, general knowledge of them and their overseas history is forgotten so that when Byleth and co eventually find and repair them, they don't know much beyond their shining moments in Fódlan's own history
Ngl, with all that talk about the regalia, it's got me thinking cos the story I first started writing for this AU actually has one of the regalia featured so that's something I could explore at some point
