Comment on How to Make iOS Text Messages on AO3

  1. I poked around a bit, and I'm guessing it's your recent Destiel fic? I'm on mobile right now, but as soon as I get to a computer I can try it out for myself and see what the issue might be. :)

    1. Yep, that's the one. I appreciate it! If it's too much trouble though, sticking the pictures in the text bubbles doesn't actually look too weird, so I guess I don't mind how it is. Thanks again btw, for sharing this code. It's awesome! :)

      1. Well, I was able to recreate it with your photo and the skin (screenshot), but I couldn't figure out why it was giving you trouble in the first place.

        #workskin .image {
        float: left;
        margin: 0 0 0.5em;
        border-radius: 1em;
        width: 50%;
        min-height: 75%;
        clear: both;
        background-image: url("http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/8rkzwsxsxoshq21/Jensen-cowboyhat2.jpg");
        position: relative;
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        background-size: 100%;
        display: inline-block;
        padding-top: 50%;
        padding-bottom: 25%;
        }

        Is what I used for the first photo, but I don't see why it wouldn't work (with a little editing) for any other photos you have? Let me know if there's any other issues?

            1. A green bath with a mortician window; a lady is facing away fom the viewer, naked except for a cloth slug low around her hips. Perhaps she'll enter the bath, perhaps she's just an attendant, preparing the room for a future bather.

              In other places I’ve noticed that sometimes A03 chokes if you have “internet address” and absolutely needs straight quotes "internet address"

              It might not solve it, but if you have curly quotes, try making them straight.
