    I LOVE transfem Rumi, her story fits it SO well, plus the additional Complexities of Her transness being the one thing Celine can accept wholly, but is it because its Her, or because it makes her more like her mother and less like her father, or even that she can be a part of the next generation of hunters? Ir a mix,? And all the feelings hit with that so well

      transfem rumi my LOVE. honestly the way i was picturing it was that celine's "acceptance" of rumi's transness is very conditonal, much in the same way her love for rumi is with the exception of her patterns. it very much gave me an "i dont have a /problem/ with queerness so long as i dont have to see it" or "but you're one of the good ones" sort of "acceptance" you might get from more conservative family members. and with rumi and celine it felt like it would be an "i'll accept you're a girl but don't let anyone know you aren't cis" sort of situation. and the biggest thing i hope to highlight in this fic for rumi is her getting exposure to a more accepting group of people with mira zoey and bobby so she can experience the joy of embracing a piece of herself and learn to start trusting them.

        Yeah, I more meant the fact that Rumi is a woman is something Celine can accept, but yeah, the fact that she's Trans could be something of a sticking point for Celine. Im Very interested in seeing where you go from here with this
