Jon jumped, brandishing his rib while Martin held up his shoe threateningly and scrambled for the chair. They both lowered their “weapons” when the realized who it was in the doorway though.
“Basira,” Martin said, still halfway on the chair. His foot without the shoe was dangled in the air, nicely showing off his sock, “Uh...nice new scarf.”
