Most people could follow the universe’s plans pretty easily, and for a girl chosen by the literal goddess of creation, it should have been easy to throw her at her soulmate. One meeting and done! That was the plan. Unfortunately, the universe didn’t expect one Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and one Timothy Drake-Wayne to be stubborn and not read the signs. So it took a few tries to finally get them together.

Tim spent a decent amount of time looking for new coffee places, so it was surprising to him that he had never even heard of the Black Cat Cafe before. Once he was inside though something felt weird. He had never felt so, so safe in Gotham. It was like there was someone watching out for this cafe and it was a weird feeling. Tim waited in line to be served and was surprised again when the man in front of him ordered.

Marinette just wanted to spend the week in Gotham at fashion week for her boss. She was supposed to be at the main event for their walk so she could take notes. She'd even designed a special outfit for it. So when she gets told two days before the event that she won't be needed she decides to do a little cathartic arson. She didn't realise that someone had seen her design, and that they were the reason she was getting the silent treatment from her boss. Can she get herself out of this predicament? Or is she going to have to rely on the local wildlife for a save? One thing is for sure, the man who got kidnapped with her is hiding something and she's going to find out what.
