Summary
Do you know why investigation and perception are such important skills? Because if you don’t use them, you might end up carrying a horrible cursed object which brings you nothing but problems, won’t disappear, and keeps you awake at night. That, and the evil chickens. Oh, the chickens.
This is a prologue story for adventures in Descent Into Avernus, Baldur’s Gate III, and a few tabletop sessions relating to those settings. The stubborn Duergar, wistful deep gnome, and disenfranchised Drow characters are mine, but I don’t own Dungeons and Dragons.
