Summary
He will take his due, willingly given or not. If Yusuke shrinks away and hides in the depths of his mind and turns into a laurel tree in Akechi’s arms, Akechi will carve its wood out, and make a wreath out of its leaves, and he will still be his.
Laying claim to Yusuke’s body and mind is an imperfect antidote to the heartbreaking wrongness of it all, but it’s enough, enough, enough, it’s at least enough to make it fade far to the background.
