But before she could truly get to question him about it- she wakes up in the back of a car headed to a castle hidden in the Swiss Alps, where she will meet the owner of it, of this supposed wellness spa her uncle wants to admit her to, all so he could have ownership over her shares as her supposed guardian (even if she's off-age) for he wants to paint her as insane, and that would have been the only reason he would have it- that or, to kill her. But then again, even the idiot knows that people would put two and two together if she had suddenly died after her father.

You couldn't recall the specific ailment you were being treated for; all you knew was that you were deemed very ill. Strangely, you didn't feel unwell at all.

Rewrite of the earlier story: Not how he had planned
He did not particularly enjoy not knowing or understanding something. Liking to have his life planned out, that way, he was confident that he was not wasting the precious time he was fighting so hard to acquire. The man worried through the halls with the shivering and shaking girl in his arms. He couldn't stop glancing down at her now and again. She looked so perfect, as if frozen in time. She didn't cry, her eyes shut, now and again, they would flutter open, and he would whisper to her, but he was almost sure nothing would come through to her right now.
All was well at the sanatorium. Doctor Volmer had everything how he wanted it to be. He had waited so long for his pure bloodline, and now that Hannah was almost at that particular age, all would be as planned. All was well until a mysterious woman appeared at the gates and did more to doctor Heinreich Volmer than he would ever care to admit

There was something about Lockhart that stood out to him. Something about him not yet tainted by the water that yearned to be brought into ruin. Perhaps it is out of jealousy of his youth, or the genuine affection given to him by Hannah? Or perhaps it is simply because Hannah likes him that is the very reason as to why he wants the boy in every which way.
For if Lockhart was good enough for his beloved daughter, then hell, the boy must be good enough for him as well.
