“Kid-” Techno watches the boy’s head snap over. Why is he doing this? He has a good thing going here- the blood god is fed and Techno doesn’t have to feel guilt- yet he’s risking it all for a kid he just met. But the way he’s staring at him as if he’s handed him the world consumes Techno with the overwhelming feeling that he had to fix this.
He had to save this kid. He refused to be a puppet any longer.
“Do you want to escape with me?”
For years, Techno has accepted that his fate as a mindless puppet for the Blood God would be an endless one, with little to no hope in sight for him. However, after a chance encounter with a skittish enderman hybrid that hits a little too close to home, Techno finds himself risking the monotony of his life for a chance at something new.

A baby that looked like him. Pink hair, grey eyes, pig nose and ears… only thing it didn’t have was the protruding lower tusks, but he imagined they’d grow in. Phil said that he didn’t have any tusks when he first found him either.
Why in all of the Nether was there a baby hybrid piglin here??? Why did someone bring it to him????'

Phil has decided to take a new wayward teen under his wings. Much to Techno's dismay he can't help but grow fond of the young boy as well. In fact the more he gets to know the boy the more Ranboo reminds him of himself. Almost scarily so at some points.
The more he thinks about it the more things seems to add up. Things Techno does not, will not, let fall into place, no matter how much his father tries to tell him otherwise. So what the kid sounds and acts so much like him? So what the kid turns to him every time he needs help, always excited to join Techno on his next journey? So what Ranboo hears voices just like him? So what the voices chant "Blood for the Blood Prince?" So what he just so happens to be the exact same age Techno's son would be if he wasn't...
It's fine, everything's fine. It doesn't matter. None of it matters cause Techno's just gonna do what he does best and keep ignoring it. But as time goes along even ignorance can't hide the inevitable.

Techno was invited to sub in for Minecraft Ultimate, a large charity Hunger Games event. The organizers told him that they’d donate him and his teammates diamond gear if he agreed to adopt an orphan if they won. Techno, with quite a few laughs, agreed without a second thought.
“For the orphans,” He said. “We’re one man down, we probably won’t win,” He said.
What the organizers didn’t expect was for Techno’s team to win so easily. What Techno didn’t expect was for the organizers to be genuinely serious about their deal. What Techno’s boyfriends didn’t expect was for him to return from a Hunger Games event with a small girl in his arms.
