Dan lets out a slight chuckle. “Jesus, that’s dark.”
“Right, and I have no reason to be dark.” His voice is dripping with sarcasm.
“Well, that’s fair. And it’s not like I can’t relate.” He raises his glass. “To forgetting the fuckery of mortality for a little while.”

When a new neighbor moves into the town that Daniel Howell has lived in his entire life and finds his safe spot in the town's vineyard, he will challenge Dan's view of himself and his town. Soon enough, they find themselves in an attraction nothing like Dan's ever known and one that those around them cannot understand.
This may be Dan's only chance to escape and truly be himself.
