Summary
The Crystal Gems are a team of magical beings who are the self-appointed guardians of the universe. Half-human, half-Gem hero Steven is the "little brother" of the group, and though he gradually learns how to use the powers that come from his forehead gem, he's constantly living in the shadow of his mother and leader of the Gem Rebellion, Pearl. Thankfully, he has his adoptive family, maternal Rose Quartz, stoic Garnet, and inquisitive Amethyst, and he also has his best friend, rebellious teenage Connie, to aid him through his adventures.

“Everyone calm down,” Pearl took Steven from Amethyst, holding the infant like some sort of…object. She glanced at the gem, ignoring the sobbing filling her ears- too hesitant at the sight of Rose's gem. She swallowed roughly, gesturing with her free hand, “Look! We can all see her. She's right…right there! She just can't reform because she has this…baby around her! Rose, I can let you out…”
She reached for the shimmering gem, hand trembling.
“We'll be…together…again…”
Sobbing turned to pure, genuine screaming as Pearl removed the gem- it sliding out with almost too little resistance in a gem's hold.

Thousands of years ago a male species called gems came to Earth. 200 years ago human males developed powers called quirks. 18 years ago Y/n Universe was born along side her twin brother from a human man and Gem. Unlike her brother Y/n had no gem and is female so she was ignored by their fathers and most of the crystal gems thought she had no powers or a quirk. At 18 Y/n leaves Beach City and moves to Japan to attend university and only keeps in touch with her brother. There she starts to make friends with some Pro Heroes. Everything seems fine until she accidently fuses with one of them.
I don't own Steven Universe or bnha.

For as long as he could remember, Steven was an outcast. His parents were gone, presumably dead, and thanks to his reputation, no one would be his friend. The yellow crystal in his chest, his strange ability to power lightbulbs just by holding them... The glowing yellow eyes when he got upset.
But after running away, he finds himself making new allies, and suddenly his life doesn't seem so bad. He has a family, and friends who don't care about his strange features.
He can only hope it will last.
This is a Yellow Diamond Steven AU with an added original character of mine, Coffinite. She shows up several chapters in.
