“Therapy android…?” Hank said, squinting into the morning light coming in from his front door, half awake and wearing only boxers, an old tee, a ratty bathrobe, and some chewed up slippers. “I didn't order no goddamn therapy android.”
“I was ordered by your department, Lieutenant,” Connor, the android, replied easily, “I was told that Captain Fowler had informed you of this previously.”
Hank grunted in reply, sipping from his coffee as he thought back. He was on day five of his forced sabbatical and some details had all blurred together. “Wait, what kind of therapy? Are you here to teach me some new-fangled yoga or somethin’?”
“I am a prototype Alpha Android, sir, programmed in the specialized handling and care of postmenopausal and stress-suffering omegas-”
The door was slammed in his face, leaving nothing but the peaceful silence of the morning broken up by a few song birds. Connor blinked for a moment, his routine interrupted, before knocking again.

Summary
When a child is born, their blood is tested to see if they'll be an alpha, beta, or omega. If the parents elect to, they can have their child's DNA submitted to the hospital's breeding department to compare and contrast numerous others in hopes of finding a viable future mate. Though such a process takes time, and a lot of money, many families, such as the Murphy's, have this done.
Heidi Hansen couldn't afford to submit Evan's DNA to the Mating Program, but she did find out that he was an omega, which alone presented it's own issues. But her son was a socially awkward, anxiety ridden teenager, and that dwindled the likelihood of him finding a good, decent alpha to mate with.
Luckily for Evan, the Murhpy family took things into their own hands.

Contrary to popular belief, Connor didn’t skip class in order to get high in some reclusive part of town, less so in the back of school; he actually didn’t smoke at all, but he guessed the smell of ash that clung to him could confuse anyone that got close to him. If anyone bothered to follow him when he skipped, they would find out why exactly he smelled like ash, and Connor would have to threaten them into secrecy, because his secret was a bit of a big one.

Nines was currently focused on a case nicknamed, Pied Piper. A series of events seemingly copied word for word from the Brothers Grimm chapter books. A serial killer who made their mark, by luring these people away from home. Strangely the killings stopped a year ago.

"Nines, this is Gavin. My bestie, the guy i talked about nonstop before...you-know." Sixty continues.
"Im already well acquainted" Nines says dryly. "Afterall he marked me."
Nines pulls his sweater down showing off his clavicle. The bite mark still blistered and bruised in his skin. Sixty cannot contain the shock, it comes out as an autible gasp. His eyebrows inch closer, as he counts the individual peiricings on his brothers shoulder. His and his best friend's eyes meet.
"Gavin, you can't be biting my baby brother!" Sixty exclaims.
"Sixty, i thought you wanted me to become your brother." Gavin, unseriously answers "I didn't wanna be Connor's mate. Sooo i had to bite your other brother."

Summary
One of the problems many androids were finding out in their newfound freedom was the challenge of an overarching system demanding assimilation instead of exploration. Humans had been wary enough of the potential androids held over them, and the government had been none too keen on letting them run about without harder boundaries beyond the typical social contract. No: to become an American citizen, one needed to become as human as possible.
That meant functioning with a secondary gender. It was hard for Connor to decide, because all of the roles were something he was more than capable of fulfilling. Perhaps, then, it depended on what sort of partner he wanted.
And that realization blindsided him one humid Monday morning, when Nines walked into the precinct - scented as an Omega.
