“Devon Pravesh.” Conrad opens the box and reveals two identical looking simple gold rings with some aqua crystals inlaid into the band. “I look into your eyes, and I get weak. I hear your voice, and my heart sings. You look at me, and I just melt. Whenever you aren’t beside me, I miss you. When you go back to your apartment, I long for you. Every second of every day since we met, you’ve been on my mind. You are always there and I’ve never loved anyone as much as I love you.”

Summary
Devon blinks and lifts his head. He can feel Conrad’s pain, his frustration and distress, affected by his own turbulent emotions. Devon shakes his head as he pulls himself higher out of the water. He wraps his arms around Conrad’s neck and tucks his chin against his chest. He rubs against the alpha and lets out a soft, almost purring sound. “I’m sorry.”
Conrad brings his hands to Devon’s waist and holds him tightly. He closes his eyes and inhales deeply. “Devon…”
“Shhh.” Devon coos softly and tips his head back. He places a kiss to Conrad’s chin and feels the alpha’s pleased hum. “I’m okay, alpha.” He says softly, his voice barely audible. “Just a bit needy and whiny. I’m sorry to make you worry. I didn’t mean to. I promise, I’m okay.”
