Helping him, is a scholar named Mu Qing, who Feng Xin falls head over heels for. Mu Qing and Feng Xin discover there is more at play than just angry monsters tormenting the mortal realm, but a mastermind trying to thwart Feng Xin at every turn and cast the Heavens into disarray. Together, they must overcome these odds, save the Heavens from collapse, and along the way Feng Xin must learn what it means to be a true hero before it is too late.
