Kaito stood there, trying to figure out where to go next. He hadn’t seen her like this since they were in high school, really. She was always so calm and collected… what had happened to make her this way? More importantly, what would calm her down?
Thinking about high school brought to mind a story she had told him when he was supporting her through her first rounds of therapy to deal with her anger. “In my house, the only thing that would really make me feel better was wrestling with my big brother. I would beat him and bruise him up, but he was always careful not to hurt me. In the end, he always won anyway.”
“How did that help?” He had asked.
“I dunno… I guess it’s just like, he let me think I was in control, he let me get all my feelings out, but I could never win. He was always the more powerful one, but he still let me try.”“Mei,” Kaito spoke faster than his mind could process. “Let’s wrestle.”

In another world, after five long cycles of war, Megatron had actually agreed to a truce with the Autobots. Among the many heavily negotiated terms was one he absolutely wouldn’t budge a single bit on. It was far too important to him, and he knew the Autobots wouldn’t sacrifice the treaty to refuse his demand.
Every single Decepticon was allowed to reenter Cybertron society without punishment.
The issue is that, while it seems everyone is getting used to life once again, Megatron is still stuck in the past. He can’t put it behind himself regardless of what others say. He struggles with a redefined role, his self worth, rampant anger issues, and most of all, the bloody conflict inside of him between D-16 and Megatron.
What he doesn’t realize is that his friends, old and new, are going to be there for him through it all.
AKA: What happens when the war ends and Megatron has to face the damage he’s done to others, and most glaringly, himself?
